Here's the story....
Frank Silver - songwriter, guitarist, producer, vocalist, has been writing songs and involved in various projects for a number of years. He is a second-generation songwriter; his father (the late Frank Silver, Sr.) co-wrote "Yes, We Have No Bananas." Frank's musical and lyrical style is one of honesty and heartfelt emotion. You can hear it in his voice. His textures are a blend of simplicity, clever arrangement and effects that defy the boundaries of a trio and very much define Frank's sound.
Frank's musical genre covers rock, blues, and pop. His projects included Conspiracy of Hearts (Joe Jones, Tim Norris, Lou Corio, Frank Silver); Highway Jones, (Frank Silver, Lou Corio, Marc Gambino) - Highway Jones self-titled CD was mixed by John Agnello (his production credits include Mick Jagger, Alice Cooper, Patti Smith, and countless others). Both projects had established a large following in the New York City area and opened for Firehouse, Eric Johnson, Zebra, Quiet Riot, and The Tom Tom Club. He has also co-written, played with and produced other artists and is open to collaboration.
Al Muzer, Aquarian Weekly wrote of Highway Jones: "the earthy spirit, subtle chops, refined melodies, positive message and blues-rock riffs this groove-happy trio lays down is an essential part of the daily soundtrack for fans of bands from "A"(llmans) to "P"(hish)"
Bill Roberts, Aquarian Weekly wrote of Highway Jones: "these guys rock...100 proof"
Frank is currently working on a new project and new material with former bandmates Lou Corio and Tim Norris....stay tuned!
